A pair of mid 19th century Italian School paintings, one depicting a peaceful harbour scene with figures, goats and sheep in the foreground, the other an encampment overlooking a lake with mounted officers in the foreground.

Framed: 17 x 20½in (43 x 52cm)


The scene by the encampment is very close to a painting on panel of the same size exhibited by Dennis Vandekar Gallery signed by Peter Wouwerman.( Haarlem 1623- 1662 Amsterdam ).
