Giles Hutchinson Smith (Chief Executive)
Giles Hutchinson SmithGiles has been with Mallett for more than 20 years, in which time he has developed a great understanding and fascination with the furniture designs and craftsmanship of the 17th and 18th centuries. This he has used to great effect in developing the pieces for Meta’s first collection. He is currently Vice Chairman of the British Antique Dealers Association and also serves on numerous vetting committees of international art and antique fairs. He became Chief Executive of the Group in 2009.
Thomas Woodham-Smith (Managing Director)
Thomas Woodham-SmithThomas joined the company in 1985. He has specialised for many years in continental furniture and is responsible for the company’s buying in that area. He also has a great interest in 20th century pieces and this has lead to the company’s recent successful association with Willy Rizzo. He currently serves on the vetting committee of five art and antiques fairs in London and America.
Felicity Jarrett (Director)
Felicity JarrettFelicity joined Mallett at Bourdon House in 1994 from a career in the city with Banco Real, to pursue her well founded love of the arts. She has built up a great knowledge and understanding of the decorative arts and in 2006 Felicity moved to Bond Street where she is now head of UK sales and client liaison.
Richard Cave (Director)
Richard CaveRichard has been with the company for 19 years having read History of Art at Edinburgh University. As well as being a primary salesman during that time, he is currently responsible for the New Bond Street showroom and the design and management of the stands at fairs we attend in Europe.
Nicholas Wells (Associate Director)
Nicholas WellsNicholas joined Mallett in 1998 having completed an Art History and Heritage Management degree at Buckingham University and then further studies at Sotheby's Institute of Art. He spent several years in the continental department at Bourdon House and now manages the photography, catalogue production and the web site. He speaks French and Italian, and has a keen interest in Anglo Indian works of art.
Justin Evershed Martin (Associate Director)
Justin Evershed MartinJustin joined Mallett in 2005, after three years with a contemporary paintings gallery. Having worked in Bourdon House and Bond Street he is now based in New York.
Gina Hamilton
Gina HamiltonGina joined Mallett in 2009 as PA to the Chief Executive. She had previously been working in Sotheby's continental furniture department having graduated with a MA in History of Art. She also speaks Italian.
Tess Gregory
Tess GregoryTess joined the company as Senior Administrator in 2006. As well as working for Mallett, she is a part time portrait artist.
Eleonore Halluitte (Meta production manager)
Eleonore HalluitteEleonore joined the company in 2008 as Production Manager for Meta. Trained to become a Commissaire Priseur in Paris, Eleonore moved to London in 2006 to broaden her expertise in furniture and decorative arts.

New York

Henry Neville (Group Sales & Marketing Director)
Henry NevilleHenry joined the company in 1984 and became a director of Mallett in 1999. He is currently responsible for the New York gallery having moved to New York in 2006. He has served on vetting committees at both national and international fairs, while he has also been chairman of the British Antique Dealers Association and President of the International Trade Federation CINOA. He has published a number of articles on the decorative arts, particularly with reference to food and dining in the 18th and 19th centuries.
João Magalhaes
João MagalhaesJoão joined Mallett in 2007 having graduated from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art with a MA in Fine and Decorative Art. Previously he lived and worked in Lisbon assisting private clients with all matters related to their art collections. He speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
